Chapter 5

The next morning Harris woke up to the most amazing experience of his long life. His mate wrapped tightly in his arms. The two had fallen asleep with their arms wrapped around one another, their legs entwined and Colin’s chest pressed to his side. All night he had been able to feel his mate’s steady heart rate and knew that there had never been a more relaxing feeling in the world. Knowing that this man was who fate chose for him and only him was pure perfection on a plate.

As Harris roused up he realised that Colin was already awake. The vampire was smiling coyly at him, unapologetic as he looked to be memorising everything about this very moment. Harris leaned in closer and kissed the morning breath right from his mate. Not that the man had morning breath in the typical sense, instead he seemed to taste of the exact last thing he had eaten. Harris himself. Harris could taste his own blood on the man’s tongue and instantly fell in love with the mixture of tastes in his own mouth. It was a powerful aphrodisiac as he pictured both of them mingled together in such a way.

The two kissed until the glorious smell of eggs and toast and coffee filtered through the air up to them.

Colin’s bedroom was situated directly above the kitchen and was the only room to go up both floors. Sure it was smaller in width and length but effectively he had two of them as compared to the slightly bigger rooms elsewhere in the house.

Currently they were in the “upstairs” portion of the room where a set of stairs led up to the “bedroom” part of the space. All that was in it was a built-in wardrobe to the wall and two nightside tables either side of the space, the other side of the staircase was a separate room, for what its use was would be pointless at the moment as it was unfurnished. Apparently Colin hadn’t found a use for the space yet, but Harris definitely could. Furthermore down the set of stairs was a small sitting area type of space that had a TV planted on the wall and beyond that was a fully equipped bathroom.

Up the one corner of the room was a big rounded corner desk space. The slight glimpse Harris had caught of it saw a single laptop sitting on top of it plus other electronic gadgets. Harris thought he had seen an iPad Mini, an iPod and other devices plus loads of paperwork.

Before long Harris heard the definitive grumble of his mate’s stomach and knew he needed to get the man fed ASAP. He had fucked the man raw last night and if he wanted to do the same thing again he would have to make sure he looked after every single of his mate’s needs.

Pulling back Harris looked into his mate’s eyes and tapped the man on the rear end before climbing out of bed. “Come on, gorgeous, let’s get you fed before we come back to bed.
